Several months into the pandemic I was diagnosed with ADHD after seeking help when I struggled working from home. I had no idea what I was doing or what my goals were, I just knew I wanted to feel “better." Michael helped me figure out what to focus on and, maybe more importantly, he kept track of my progress and constantly thought of what’s best for me. He considered whether I needed to focus on coaching vs. my therapy based on how well I was following up on our ideas. Being diagnosed and talking with other folks who have ADHD has really helped me figure myself out and I'm very grateful for that.
When I started working with Mike, I had a sizeable life goal sitting in front of me. While it was vaguely mapped out, I was stalling to execute and getting in my own way. Four months later the path is laid, and I can now say I'm walking forward and goals are crystalizing!
I'm also a life-long ADHD human and the struggle has always been real. I never felt uncomfortable with Mike as a coach; there may have been "good" discomfort in the form of what comes naturally when you wrestle with difficult blockage, but Mike showed me how to lead myself through it.
I have been working with Michael for approximately 6 months. During that time, we have covered many topics and areas of life that I felt needed improvement.
Michael has provided a professional and accepting environment for me to share concerns and deep personal issues. He has been 100% supportive of my needs and helped me begin setting realistic goals. Most importantly has provided a base of new thinking that has allowed me to find new ways to solve old problems on my own. As time goes by, I find myself coming to Michael with solutions already thought of and looking for additional insight, rather than not having a clue where to even begin, which is sadly where I had been stuck for a long time.
Having the tools to solve problems in real time has increased my performance in every area of life and given me a renewed confidence in myself. I cannot begin to express how happy I am that I decided to make this investment and how grateful I am that Michael was the coach I met first. I would recommend his coaching process to anyone and am confident Michael has something powerful to offer everyone who is willing to do just a little bit of hard work improving themselves!
“Michael helped me work on time management and organization extensively. This has been a true game-changer in terms of running my own business. The skills I have learned allowed me to significantly reduce my stress in both running a business and in my home life. Instead of having stress and anxiety prior to deadlines, I now am empowered to plan appropriately to complete any tasks I set for myself.”
“My husband was diagnosed later in life and sought out Michael to help him learn to manage the symptoms that had always been present. I cannot thank him enough for the invaluable tools he has equipped my husband with. We previously had no context or game plan to deal with the chaos that ADD can sometimes feel like. I could tell a difference after a few sessions of working with Michael which tells me his methods are relatable and easily actionable. My husband’s temper and frustration are much less explosive. His anxiety and time-management have improved tremendously.”
“I would like to especially highlight the level of professionalism that Mike displays. I come from a professional health care and counseling background, so I have a very firm grasp of professional guidelines (notably HIPPA). I also have utilized various counseling professions in the past (social worker, psychologist, psychiatrist) and Mike has upheld the highest of ethical and professional standards that I expect. He also provided an unparalleled level of understanding and support during our sessions. I would suggest life coaching, especially from Mike Snyder, to anyone looking to maximize the potential in their lives.”
“Mike’s compassion and depth of knowledge relating to all things ADHD helped me immensely to better understand how my ADHD affected me. Through his coaching, I learned how to build a robust support system around myself. I now have a better understanding of what things I need to work on, how to tackle them, and how to not get bogged down when I perceive things wrongly.”
